Welcome to the ICBAB

Islamic Community of Bay Area Bosniaks (ICBAB) was founded by Bosnian refugees in 1997, and was later registered as a non-profit organization in 2003. In addition to being a community founded for the sole purpose of serving Allah ﷻ, it was a safe haven for Bosnian-Americans to celebrate our cultures, values, minds, and all of our ways of being in the world. By the will of Allah ﷻ, our organization came a long way from our beginnings back in 1997, where our continuous growth and perseverance allowed us to acquire our current ICBAB home in 2010.

In addition to hosting the five daily prayers, ICBAB provides educational programs (dawah), Islamic counseling, outreach and social services, and various youth activities. We thank Allah ﷻ for his blessings, and our community members for their relentless support in building this community to what it is today.
